Intelligent signal processing is entirely self-contained in each model, making setup easy and fast. Each speaker's processor circuitry is critically mated to its drivers using eighth-order crossovers. Apogee's exclusive VIProtect™ circuits with voltage and current sensors increase driver linearity while reducing the likelihood of damage or failure.
The APLs are fully arrayable and very effective when used alone or as the building block for a large system. They provide extremely high power, well-defined directional control, low distortion, and superbly accurate response. All you give up are equipment racks, speaker cables, and setup time.
